Fall 2011 -  Forth Worth, Tx.  The director of the Fort Worth Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, Sharon Zacharias is presented a check for $25,000 by Polly Weidenkopf, president of the 2011 Dallas Military Ball and retired USMC Master Gunnery Sergeant, from the  proceeds from the 2011 Dallas Military Ball. The proceeds will be dispersed to active duty, reserve and retired Marines and Sailors, and eligible family members here in need of emergency financial assistance. June 2011 - Washington, D.C Brig Gen Leon Johnson, USAF (Ret.), vice-president of the Dallas Military Ball Foundation presents to John D. Hopper, Jr. Lt  Gen, USAF (Ret) Chief Executive Officer, Air Force Aid Society a $25,000 check from the proceeds of the 2011 Dallas Military Ball. The proceeds will be dispersed to active duty, reserve and retired Airmen, and eligible family members here in need of emergency financial assistance.
   
     
22 July 2010 - NAS Forth Worth, JRB.  The director of the Fort Worth Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (white shirt), Sharon Zacharias, along with station and unit commanders, is presented a check for $50,000 by Polly Weidenkopf, president of the Dallas Military Ball and retired USMC Master Gunnery Sergeant, at the office of Capt. Tracey D. Smyers (Navy working uniform), station commanding officer and chairman of the Fort Worth NMCRS advisory board, here July 22. 2010, for proceeds from the 2010 Dallas Military Ball. The proceeds will be dispersed to active duty, reserve and retired Marines and Sailors, and eligible family members here in need of emergency financial assistance.
