James F. Berry

President

 

 

James (Jim) F. Berry is the president of Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.

 

A veteran of 35 years in the aerospace industry, Jim Berry has substantial experience in general management, program management and engineering and manufacturing management in leading-edge, high-technology companies.  He moved to Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control - Dallas in 1997 after serving as vice president - technology for the Lockheed Martin Electronics Sector since 1994.  From 1991 to 1993, he was vice president and general manager of the C-17 program at McDonnell Douglas Corporation, and earlier had executive responsibility for production material and quality activities on that program.

 

 

From 1986 to 1990, Berry held increasingly responsible posts at Northrop Corporation, serving as vice president - production engineering, followed by assignments as vice president - manufacturing, for the B‑2 Division of Northrop Corporation, and vice president - operations, for that division of Northrop.  Previously, he spent 20 years at Rockwell Space and had major program responsibilities on the Apollo, Apollo Soyuz, Space Shuttle and Space Station programs. 

 

Berry received an MBA from Pepperdine University in 1985.
